RUST RUIMTE COMFORT
The former farmhouse of Hein is situated on the outskirts of Chaam. A small village in the Southern part of The Netherlands. Hein was the grandfather of Willem and built the house and stables around 1930. We are the third generation living on this land.
Renovations started early 2019. We rebuild the house and the former barn was taken down. The design of the new barn included a workspace, meeting room and a guesthouse.
So now you can come and stay with us. Slapen bij Hein offers you a comfortable and quiet home away from home. Private, spacious, and surrounded by nature. The kind of place we look for ourselves when traveling.
THE GUESTHOUSE
The home has been carefully designed and decorated, with a focus on sustainability. You will find a concrete floor and lots of wood to create a warm and comfortable atmosphere. Influenced by Scandinavian design as well as a love for Bohemian chique, the guesthouse is a vibe of its own. With preloved vintage as well as designer pieces, the interior is a mix of old and new.
The house is 65m2 and has an open kitchen/livingroom area. There’s a spacious bedroom on the ground floor with access to the bathroom featuring a large walk-in shower and double sinks. From the kitchen and bedroom, you have direct access to the private garden through double open doors. There is a second bedroom on a split level, accessible via a staircase in the living room. We would not recommend this bedroom for young kids. We can provide a baby bed and high chair upon request.
Parking is available directly at the house, your bicycles can be stored securely. The garden is private and offers and outdoor kitchen.
GOOD TO KNOW
Minimum stay is 2 nights, we accommodate 4 people max + a baby. The rate is 150 euros per night.
The price includes cleaning, bath towels and bed linen. Excluding tourist tax of 2,50 euros per person per night.
Coffee and tea are provided. We have a honesty bar.
Breakfast can be served at the house for 15 euro per person, 10 euro for children 2 to 12 years. Kids under 2 years free.
Check-in is from 15:00, and check-out is at 12:00.

ABOUT US
Born and raised in Chaam but never thought that we would return here. Sometimes life has a different plan for you. We’ve lived in the renovated farmhouse since 2020 together with our sons Jackson and James and our Vizsla dog Dexter.
We are both self-employed, working from the office in the barn. Willem is an online entrepreneur and Carolien has a background in music and festival PR. Currently she is the driving force behind all things Hein.
LOCATION
Chaam is surrounded by forests and heathlands. Kilometers of hiking and biking trails await you. We are happy to share all of our tips. Bikes can be rented in the village.
If you prefer more hustle and bustle, the cities of Breda, Tilburg, Den Bosch, Eindhoven, Rotterdam, and Antwerp are all within an hour’s reach.
World renown theme park De Efteling and Beekse Bergen Safari Park are 30 minutes away.
RESERVATION REQUEST
During the 2024 school holidays your arrival and/or departure is only possible on Friday or Monday. You will either stay a weekend, midweek, or a week.
School holidays 2024: February 9th to 18th, April 19th to May 5th, July 5th to August 18th, October 18th to October 27th, and December 20th to January 5th, 2025.
